It turns out that building Gentoo binary packages in Docker is working fine, I'm now able to build big packages such as llvm on another computer, and retrieve them on my modest laptop.
I will certainly write about it.

I *think* I've seen file I/O in docker being a bit slow (probably due to the layered FS), for something I/O heavy like compiling a chroot *might* be (even) faster
@solene@bsd.network isn’t this what distcc is for? or is this some other use case?
