I'm still on the job hunt. I'm an experienced C developer who spends
his free time doing operating systems development with a focus on
#infosec. I'm known for writing defensive and offensive tooling,
exploit mitigations and post-exploitation tools alike. I have fifteen
years professional experience with over two decades of hobbyist
experience. I'm the cofounder of #HardenedBSD, an open source
enterprise operating system based on #FreeBSD that implements a
growing number of exploit mitigations and security hardening
mechanisms.
I'm based out of Columbia, MD, USA and would prefer remote jobs. My
wife and I have a long-term goal of moving to Colorado in order to be
closer to family.
I'm passionate about anything in infosec, especially on the
development side of the house. I love developing purpose-built
solutions that carry a tangible human impact.
I have some experience with #Python, mostly dealing with well-formed,
structured data (like JSON, XML, etc.)
I'm spending my spare time learning #RustLang.
Here's my resume/CV:

@lattera nice to meet you what a incredible history!
@lattera I saw some former colleagues of mine post that they're hiring, they're a big FreeBSD shop. Might be worth a look? Specifically the remote OS Engineer gig. https://www.ixsystems.com/careers/ GL on the hunt at any rate. Cheers.
@lattera Netflix, iXsystems and NetApp are hiring FreeBSD devs and they have open positions with job descriptions. I took a step to send your resume to two contacts on the later company, hope you don’t mind.
Thanks! I really appreciate the help! :-)
@lattera you should check out #crowdstrike - they are still hiring and I think given your background you will have a lot of fun there
