@cynicalsecurity Linux guests have been supported for a long time now, you just need to make sure GRUB is configured to do serial.
@cynicalsecurity You can use the mini.iso to install it with vmctl -r (boot from ISO).
@cynicalsecurity Also that wiki is outdated, newer mini.iso images are available.

@brynet I tried back at 6.3, I think then forgot about… oops. Useful to know again!
@brynet With vmm I get random crashes of the vm or random vm hangs with it pegged to 100% cpu. Running Alpine on current (X1 6th gen). What distro are you running that works well?
@egtann This is just Ubuntu. I can't say I've noticed that lately, at least on AMD SVM. This is a Ryzen machine.
@brynet holy cow I can't even get to the installer for Ubuntu before it freezes up. Stuck on the installer boot menu.
@egtann I assume you're configuring the bootloader to use serial?
@egtann I'm pretty sure I tested Ubuntu works on an Intel Skylake laptop, are you on -current or 6.6 -release? Anyway, if you can reproduce it, send a mail to bugs@.
@egtann If you were on -current, it may be possible you were hitting this? https://marc.info/?l=openbsd-cvs&m=157583611722545&w=2
@brynet very well could be! Looking forward to the merge, then I'll test.
@brynet wait, since when does Linsux Ubuntu work on VMM???
