@v6shell For example, before the latest errata for 6.4/6.5 came out (as a patch & syspatch), it was first committed to -current and then later backported to the -stable CVS tags.

@v6shell Only -release! The changes will already be in -stable and -current, which you either need to build from source, or in the case of -current, install a new snapshot.
Never run syspatch(8) on -stable or -current.
