Mozillaが運営しているIRCが閉じられるらしい。RustコミュニティーはすでにDicordやZulipに移行しつつあるが、これでIRCの公式チャンネルは終わりになる。どうしてもIRCに残りたい人はfreenodeに非公式のrustチャンネルがあるのでそれを使うといいらしい
