We are designing and building a cloud chamber. Temperature monitoring is using a RP2040 pico board to read a pair of digital temperature sensors and drive a display. The rest is high power regulators to drive stacks of Peltier plates. This is all the parts laid out to help us design a case for it all. <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/MakerMonday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MakerMonday</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/cloudchamber" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>cloudchamber</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/STEM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>STEM</span></a></p>

Giraffe Beer<p>Hi <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@themagpi" class="u-url mention">@<span>themagpi</span></a></span> ! These are my 1st/2nd electronics project of my life. I pulled out keyboard module from old SANYO/RICOH word prosessor, converted to modern USB keyboard by QMK installed Raspberry Pi Pico W, and stuck into 3D printed cases. Since it was my first time writing a program in my life, I chose Raspberry Pi as it seemed to be the most suitable for beginners. And thanks to the generous support of the community, I able to complete it with almost no difficulty! <a href="https://mstdn.maud.io/tags/MagPiMonday" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>MagPiMonday</span></a><br /><a href="https://mstdn.maud.io/tags/MakerMonday" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>MakerMonday</span></a></p>
